Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday night, actor John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis in the 80s and 90s sitcom “Full House,” announced that Netflix will be picking up where ABC Family left off 20 years ago with a 13-episode reboot.
The show’s creator, Jeff Franklin, will serve as the executive producer of the ninth season, and Mr. Stamos will be returning to produce and make occasional guest appearances.
The reboot will star “Full House” veterans Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler ). Additionally, Netflix is in talks with other “Full House” stars, including Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin, to guest star as well. READ MORE.
